Talent Acquisition Specialist

Lux Research, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to help source and manage an active candidate pipeline for all job openings throughout the organization. This position will be entrusted to build a strong employment brand. It is important that this role fosters hiring best practices that engage diverse candidates all the while ensuring a fair and enjoyable candidate experience.

This role will be reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Full life-cycle recruitment for all of Lux’s offices across the globe.
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Leverages recruiting resources such as current ATS platform, professional organizations, and community associations to identify, recruit and network for candidates.
  • Utilize the full functionality of our applicant tracking system to manage the open positions and candidates.
  • Schedules interviews for the hiring managers.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Provide feedback to candidates to ensure timely coordination of a candidate’s movement through the recruitment process.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs.
  • Assist with as-needed projects.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Associates degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting.
  • Science or technical background preferred.
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
  • Experience with JazzHR or market leading applicant tracking system preferred.
  • Proficient with office software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Works independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks.
