Job description – Account Manager, Korea Territory

Lux Research is seeking qualified Sales candidates to help us manage and grow current client accounts. Sales Representatives will ensure service delivery to existing Lux Research clients and conduct both renewal and new business sales interactions with senior-level executives within institutional accounts. Sales Representatives conduct consistent and meaningful live interactions with all contacts and are evaluated against overall institutional contract value growth, securing renewed business and business growth.

You will report to the Managing Director, Asia Pacific.

The working language at Lux Research is English.  We are seeking candidates also fluent in Korean.  Japanese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with clients/prospects through demonstration of in-depth client knowledge, understanding of specific client needs/priorities and application of surface-level research solutions.
  • Prospect, source, cold call for new business opportunities within your client base.
  • Navigate Lux Research client offerings on behalf of the institution, ensuring the appropriate product is provided to meet the client need.
  • Educate members/prospects on the benefits of Lux Research products and services through compelling articulation of our business model and value proposition.
  • Create customized account plans for each institution, outlining service delivery and CV growth strategies for existing and potential clients within the institution.
  • Utilize existing client relationships to navigate within the institution and generate/contact new business leads.
  • Evaluate prospects' business needs and present appropriate mix of Lux Research products.
  • Determine appropriate tactics to drive urgency in sales cycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years demonstrated sales success, selling and servicing research & consulting services to large institutional clients.
  • Ability to meet personal and team monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goal.
  • Ability to diagnose prospect/member needs and identify relevant resources.
  • Comfort seeking referrals to grow additional buying centers within your client base.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate with, influence, and convince C-level executives.
  • Deep affinity with and intellectual curiosity about the impact of emerging technology on
  • organizations of all kinds. Content focused.
  • Ability to learn substance of research quickly.
  • Successfully having worked at a start-up and a Fortune 500 company is a major plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to speak articulately and with situational fluency in Korean.  Japanese or other Asian language fluency is a plus.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • A good sense of humor is a major plus.
  • Hiring preference for Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs.
