Customer Success Manager

Lux Research is seeking qualified Customer Success Manager candidates to manage and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction with existing Lux Research clients. Through a combination of client management and commercial skills you ensure high client retention levels, customer satisfaction and you become the voice of the client.  The Customer Success Manager will conduct consistent and meaningful live interactions with all client contacts and you are evaluated against client retention and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment, understands the value of goals and targets and is driven by building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Customer Success Manager for a fixed set of clients
  • Develop strong understanding of client organization by building a trusted adivisor relationship through regular interaction
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients by matching client needs with our products and services initiate and lead sales conversations aligning client needs with our solution suite
  • Determine appropriate tactics to drive urgency in renewals cycle, including teleconferences, product demonstrations and analyst interactions

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated relationship and client management success
  • Excellent organizational skills, deadline driven and effective time management
  • Prior experience working for a research and or consulting firm is a major plus
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Negotiating experience
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Ability to communicate with, influence, and convince decision making Executives
  • Intellectual curiosity about the impact of emerging technology  
  • Goal oriented, managing and meeting monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Solid experience with CRM software, Salesforce is a plus
  • Travel will be no more than 25%
