Marketing Events Coordinator

Lux is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented marketer with a strong events background to join our team! This role requires a forward-thinking marketer with proven event management, analytical, and communication skills to coordinate strategic events, either hosted by Lux and/or attended by Lux team members. This role will be responsible for event project management and execution, and will also require someone with creativity and the proactive desire to collaborate with sales on lead generation.

The Marketing Events Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, execution and measurement of best practices for our annual Lux Executive Summit in North America (April) and will also consult with the EMEA/APAC team for our Amsterdam event (June) and Tokyo event (October). In addition, ad hoc project support will be required. This includes, but is not limited to, managing additional corporate events, analyst speaking events and third party demand generation trade shows. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders on event strategy and success, develop and execute events that promote lead generation and/or client advocacy. 
  • Help drive brand and content strategy for events – pulling in key stakeholders to recruit speakers and develop presentations.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and execute effective, holistic, and integrated marketing campaigns to drive demand to external participants.
  • Monitor event marketing metrics, and make recommendations for enhancing effectiveness, and report on all results. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest event marketing best practices, approaches, innovations and technologies; and share your insights with key stakeholders across the company. 


Qualifications:

  • At least 2-4 years of successful experience in event marketing, field marketing, and/or demand generation.
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within agreed timeline and budget.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are critical.
  • Experience managing outside contractors, agencies, and vendors.
  • Ability to understand and use company objectives to drive the theme of events and integrated marketing campaigns. 
  • Extremely organized, self-starting, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be metrics driven and a strong analytic thinker.
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot and/or comparable marketing automation systems.
